“It’s not what happens to you, it’s how you react” is a saying that has stood the test of time. What if you did not have to react? The opposite of being reactive is being proactive. 10% of the world functions on a higher playing field than the rest of society because they have a proactive way of thinking. Part of being proactive is always having a forward focus. Focusing on the solution and being task-oriented is key. A major way to be proactive in society is to have insurance.
Insurance coverage is a two-way agreement. You pay the provider, and the provider gives you a safety net. All you must do is pay a set amount each month for your insurance to cover you when times get tough. It’s the unforeseen circumstances that either break us or make us stronger. What will you do to make sure life doesn’t break you?
To be a truly proactive person you must overcome hard times and not go back to what happened. It is hard to not look back if you are carrying a financial burden that could have been avoided with insurance. Manage your risk. Not only do you have to manage your risks, but insurance companies must manage their own risk as well. They do this through premiums. For example, young male drivers are charged a higher premium than middle-aged married men. You can probably guess why. All in all, the lesson to be learned is to take charge of the circumstance before it happens. Be proactive in insurance and all areas of life. Prove you are in the top 10% of the world. “Be wise today so you don’t cry tomorrow” – E.A. Bucchianeri
